Teacher presence at WolfPAC:

Teachers will report to the PAC what teachers are doing and vice versa.  Teacher rep will make sure they read the minutes off the last meeting.  This is all in an effort to let teachers know what WolfPAC does and have teachers tell WolfPAC what their needs are and what they are doing in their classes.

Jan will accompany Diana to the staff meeting to present WolfPAC and their mission.

Monthly Treasury Report

We brainstormed ideas for how to support eScript more.  We thought we could:

  • Having the teachers have reminders for sign up in the weekly newsletter
  • Any major night event, we have the laptops out for signing up for escript

Account Balance as of June 30, 2009 $13,251.69

Account Balance as of June 30, 2009 $13,423.08

Obligations for current school year (estimated) for art support $4,200

JARAT money clarification again:  Teachers will propose how they want to divide up the money.  The overflow after that will go to support the arts.

Fundraising

We will make up our own.

Examples of great art projects were the 1st grade yearbook.

Green Team

It started as a team that works on the community garden.  It expanded into a sustainability team.  For example, we have one wind turbine on the roof; we are looking at an EWEB grant; we have a large electric composter.

There is confusion as to the current Green Team/School Garden Project.  Shadiin will ask Jeff to clarify.  Ideally, Jeff will call all stakeholders together.  Jeph will be a rep from WolfPAC.

We will come to next meeting with fundraising ideas.
